About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team in Surrey. As a key member of our electrical team, you will be responsible for completing electrical installations on various industrial and water industry projects.

This is a permanent role, contracted to 40 hours per week, with paid hourly rates and overtime compensated. You will also receive paid travel time, calculated door-to-door, in addition to your contracted and overtime hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • To complete electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges' Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety legislation and regulations
  • Install items to the highest standards, compliant with project quality plans and inspection and test plans
  • Follow and promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and take action when unsafe circumstances arise
  • Coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
  • Promote Bridges' values when interacting with peers, staff, customers, and clients
  • Foster positive health and wellbeing amongst colleagues
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and represent Bridges as an ambassador, supporting business goals and maintaining the company's reputation
Requirements
  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • Experience in the water or construction industry
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable)
  • Able to manage workload effectively, with minimal assistance from Project Managers, to deliver safe and profitable projects
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
  • Fitness to work medical
  • Full UK driving licence
