School Cleaner with Special Needs Expertise

FUTURE EDUCATION is seeking a reliable and experienced School Cleaner / Pool Maintainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school cleaning, pool maintenance, and working in high-temperature environments.
Responsibilities- Perform general cleaning duties in classrooms, offices, corridors, and other areas within the school.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pool area, including regular cleaning and disinfecting of the pool and surrounding surfaces.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels in the pool, ensuring they meet health and safety standards.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces and high-temperature areas, including restrooms and changing rooms.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Refill and stock cleaning supplies as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the relevant personnel.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a clean and safe environment for students, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
The estimated hourly rate for this position is £11 - £13 an hour. With a 10-hour weekly contract, the total weekly earnings would be approximately £110 - £130.
