Role Overview

The Engineering Process Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Engineering Process Team in the management, review, and administration of engineering changes. This position will be part of the engineering team developing new technologies and supporting the production of X-ray inspection systems in the security market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and manage the ECO (Engineering Change Order) process to determine which orders are released and when, ensuring accurate and timely releases.
  • Support cross-departmental liaison to facilitate the seamless introduction of changes released via Engineering Change Orders.
  • Develop and implement new processes as needed, as well as improvements to the ECO (and related) processes.
  • Provide engineering, developmental, and process support for business aspects as needed, including work on the ECOs review the changes, and work on Special Projects, etc.
  • Offer administrative support to the senior engineering team to ensure the smooth running of the department.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience of Engineering Change Management, and/or related processes.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to defined process flow.
  • An open-minded and creative approach to processes, process design, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • An engineering background would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Change Procedures and/or change management systems (i.e. Agile) would be desirable.
