Business Development Representative, Account Acquisition Specialist

About the Opportunity:
This is a long-term career opportunity with a sustainable and friendly business that operates ethically and values employees. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for someone who can develop and win sales through large-scale tender cycles.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills – written and oral.
- They should be able to learn products/services in detail and prepare product demonstrations.
- Successful applicants will sell vertical solutions into Local Government, Utility or Contracting sectors.
- They will also deal with stakeholders at all levels – internally and externally.
- Working independently and as part of a team is essential.
About the Role:
This role is a softer sales approach without targets, where contribution is measured and valued differently. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
Requirements:
- A strong track record in sales is required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in learning products/services in detail and preparing product demonstrations.
- Selling vertical solutions into Local Government, Utility or Contracting sectors is a must.
- Dealing with stakeholders at all levels – internally and externally – is required.
