As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation, installation, and configuration of all systems, including recommending software and hardware acquisitions and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain all elements of IT Infrastructure, supporting and optimising key functional areas, particularly server infrastructure and all local onsite infrastructure.
- Monitor IT service performance, availability, and capacity.
- Ensure data centre capacity is measured and provide regular capacity reports and appropriate availability.
- Test and document disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Apply technical support concepts to deliver the highest standard of technical support.
- Support the review of system architecture and recommend improvements in line with Service Delivery.
- Knowledge necessary to propose relevant IT responses to changing business and project risks.
- Azure administration.
- Scripting, patching, and monitoring.
- SCCM and endpoint protection.
- Experience with Migrations of Office 365, including emails, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Understanding of Data Centers (DCs) and Hyper-V.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 monitoring tools.
