Job Title: Lead Engineer - Digital Integration

Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Lead Engineer (Digital Integration) to join our team permanently on our major projects. As Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, leadership, coordination, implementation, and performance of single-discipline engineering activities for an assigned project within our major project.

Responsibilities
  1. Understand and Apply Relevant Safety Legislation
  2. Review and Manage Design Control
  3. Produce Engineering Deliverables
  4. Manage Technical Risk
  5. Coordinate Requirements Management
  6. Develop Engineering Delivery Baselines
  7. Coordinate Project Delivery and Reporting
  8. Engage with Delivery Partners and Supply Chain Organisations
  9. Understand and Work Within Project Delivery Lifecycle
Nuclear Specific Engineering Responsibilities
  1. Experience and Knowledge of UK Nuclear Site Licence Conditions
  2. Knowledge of Configuration Controlled Nuclear Baseline
  3. Experience of Nuclear Site Licence Company Procedures
  4. Knowledge of Generic Nuclear New-Build Safety Case
  5. Solid and Proven Knowledge of UK Nuclear Facility Operational Safety Case
  6. Knowledge of Design Substantiation Process
  7. Experience of Quality Control and Relationship Between Nuclear Safety and Project Lifecycle
  8. Knowledge of UK Nuclear and Environmental Regulators
Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science Subject
  2. Professional Membership of Relevant Chartered Body
  3. Proven Experience in Complex/Major Project Engineering Delivery Environment
  4. Currently Hold SC or Prepared to Go Through SC Process
