Aerospace Composites Manufacturing Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Composites Technician to join the Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team of a highly-successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation.
The Composites Technician will work across the company's product portfolio, manufacturing fibre-based components such as carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid fibre-based components. The Composites Technician will also manufacture simple tooling/moulds and patterns using epoxy or foam-based materials, as well as supporting the assembly of hardware.
Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture fibre-based components using carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid fibre
- Manufacture simple tooling/moulds and patterns using epoxy or foam-based materials
- Support the assembly of hardware
- Strong engineering knowledge with experience in the assembly of precision components
- Demonstrable practical experience of composites manufacturing
- Knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of MAIT, such as functional testing, electrical bonding/isolation, vibration, shock, TVAC, kinematic testing of deployable systems, etc.
- Demonstrable experience of using assembly procedures
