We are seeking an experienced Industrial Controls Engineer to join our team in East Lancashire. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including the development and modification of PLC and HMI software to maximise performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and a strong understanding of electrical systems. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

About the Role

">

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented Team Manager who comes from a Controls/Software background. You will be responsible for developing and modifying PLC and HMI software, conducting workshop testing and onsite commissioning, and supporting documentation using MS Office.

">

You will have a 70/30 split between being based in the office and out on customer sites, with approximately 95% of sites located in the UK. This role offers a collaborative and supportive working environment and the opportunity to learn and be trained on AutoCAD Electrical.

The successful Industrial Controls Engineer will have:

  • A strong background in electrical systems and automation">
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000, Logix 5000, and FactoryTalk View">
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team">
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support documentation using MS Office">
  • A willingness to learn and be trained on AutoCAD Electrical">

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £45-50k per annum, plus overtime and a generous holiday package. You will also receive above auto-enrolment pension contributions and the opportunity to work with a talented Team Manager who comes from a Controls/Software background.
