Quality Engineer Role

We are a leading Machinery Manufacturer based in the Burnley area, seeking an experienced Quality professional to join our team. Our organization values strong training and development opportunities, offering internal auditors certifications.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Officer, Document Controller, or similar professional looking to progress into a Quality Engineer role. You will work closely with quality inspectors, supply chain teams, engineering, and production departments to identify and resolve quality issues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead corrective action processes and root cause analysis for quality issues across manufacturing, assembly, and supplier operations.
- Collaborate with quality inspectors, supply chain, engineering, and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of corrective actions and training activities to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare detailed quality reports, manage document control, and maintain compliance records.
- Support internal and external audit programmes to ensure ongoing quality compliance.
- Experience as a Quality officer, Quality administrator, Document Controller or similar.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Experience or knowledge in internal audit processes
We offer a competitive salary of up to £35k per annum (dependent on experience), along with a range of benefits including 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, 3 x Death in Service, Bonus, Medicash. The role is based in Burnley, working 40 hours per week with flexible hours and early finish Fridays.
