About the Position

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and review maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and breakdown records to optimize preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and implement innovative PLC programs and software upgrades to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all relevant safety guidelines when operating machinery, systems, or chemicals.
  • Foster compliance with hazardous area regulations for installations and maintenance activities.
  • Oversee site machinery software updates, modifications, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Implement regular software backups to safeguard machinery automation and prevent data loss.
  • Collaborate on team or individual projects as needed, leveraging expertise and problem-solving skills to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of an HNC engineering qualification, accompanied by relevant industry experience.
  • A proven track record of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced PLC expertise, including fault diagnosis and programming capabilities in Ladder Logic, C+, and Structured Text.
