About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Central Lancashire Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) and Memory Assessment Services (MAS) team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership and work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership to the RITT and MAS teams, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care to patients.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, working closely with patients, families, and carers to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
  • Participate in peer review and quality improvement activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months.
  • AC Status or within 6 months.
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience appropriate to this role.
