Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd are delighted to be supporting OsecoElfab, a global manufacturer of customised rupture discs and explosion vents with their search for an IT Support Specialist. This role would be best suited to someone with 1-2 years industry experience or a recent graduate with the drive and determination to develop and progress within an IT Support role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential technical support to users and IT systems at the North Shields site.
- Assist with troubleshooting, user support, and basic system maintenance, while learning from more experienced team members.
- Install software and set up new employee systems, including imaging and hardware installations.
- Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues involving docking stations, laptops, desktops, and shop floor IT equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of IT support and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (WiFi, VPNs).
- Ability to provide basic hardware and software support.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Salary and Benefits:
- Estimated salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience level.
- Day shift role, Monday-Friday (office based).
