Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a Care Support Specialist to work with us at Potens. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be supporting adults who experience mental ill health to get back on their feet and re-engage in a life that is meaningful to them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will support adults to develop their living skills, such as cooking, maintaining their living space, and managing their finances.
  • You will help source enjoyable community activities, and access higher education or employment.
  • You will support adults to remain well through utilising and develop coping skills.

Requirements:

  • You will be enthusiastic, with an interest in working within the mental health sector.
  • You will be a skilled verbal and written communicator.
  • You will be flexible, as a residential service we are open 24/7.
  • You will be empathic, with a flexible approach that respects individual differences.
  • You will be dedicated, with a willingness to go the extra mile.
