Manchester, United Kingdom ARM Full time
About the Role

The Systems Development team at Arm Solutions Engineering requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development, standardization, and maintenance of internal engineering flows. As a key member of the Front End CAD team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing efficient design-related flows that enable system design activities within the System Development team.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering Directors and Technical Leads to establish a common set of requirements, resulting in a roadmap for design-related flow development. Your work will involve the creation of lint, cdc/rdc, sdc, and machine-readable specifications to support automation of best practices within the System Development team. This will enable our design community to achieve optimal results.

Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing design metrics, working with tools from multiple EDA vendors, and developing scripts in languages such as Python, Perl, and PHP. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing version control flows, including SVN, Git, and Gerrit.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate with a comprehensive knowledge of EDA flows used for SoC hardware development, as well as strong skills in scripting languages and version control. Excellent communication and team management skills are essential, with a proven track record of working with global teams.

What We Offer

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of talented engineers, contributing to the development of innovative solutions. We offer a dynamic, inclusive, and meritocratic work environment that encourages growth and success. Our team is committed to enabling a culture of excellence, where all members can thrive and achieve their full potential.
