About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Transformational Leader to join our team as a Principal Consultant. As a key member of our advisory services, you will be responsible for leading major client engagements, providing expert advice and guidance to drive strategic initiatives and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives to deliver tailored solutions.
    • Lead client-facing teams, providing expert advice and strategic insights to address complex challenges.
    • Collaborate closely with clients to design and implement strategic initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings with clients and stakeholders, using effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Develop and implement communication and stakeholder management plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Strategic Initiative Design and Oversight:
    • Design and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring projects meet or exceed client expectations.
    • Lead project teams, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.
    • Monitor progress and adjust as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Mentorship and Team Development:
    • Mentor and support senior consultants and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
    • Act as a role model and leader within the team, promoting best practices and a collaborative work environment.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for new projects and services, contributing to the growth of AECOM's advisory services.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, enhancing AECOM's reputation and expanding its client base.
  • Capability Growth:
    • Support the continuous development of AECOM's Change and Transformation capability within the advisory services.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, integrating new approaches and methodologies into client and internal engagements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a change and/or transformation consultant, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective communication plans.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting client expectations.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, with a strong focus on continuous learning and professional development.
