At Coordinated Care Services, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $48,477.00 - $56,797.00 per year.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, applied behavior analysis, NYS license in Mental Health Counseling, National Board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) or a NYS license as a Behavior Analyst (LBA).

Responsibilities include evaluating specific challenge areas and offering recommendations and positive approaches through written documents and direct interactions, to assist with behavior modification and development of new skills that will enhance the person's quality of life.

The successful candidate will also provide direct supervision and consultation on the implementation of Behavior Support Plans, Medication Monitoring Plans, and Behavior Guidelines.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, applied behavior analysis, NYS license in Mental Health Counseling, National Board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) or a NYS license as a Behavior Analyst (LBA)
  • Two to three years' experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
  • Training and experience in assessment techniques and behavior support plan development preferred
