Bury St, Suffolk, United Kingdom Puro Accountancy Full time

Puro Accountancy is seeking an experienced Payroll Senior to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients using Brightpay. You will also calculate and process statutory deductions such as tax and national insurance, handle employee queries regarding pay and benefits, and prepare CIS returns. Additionally, you will assist with year-end payroll procedures including P11D's and P60's, and support the personal tax team as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working in payroll in a UK accountancy practice or bureau, and must have experience with a variety of payroll software. Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients are essential. Responsibilities:

* Process weekly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients using Brightpay
* Calculate and process statutory deductions such as tax and national insurance
* Handle employee queries regarding pay and benefits
* Prepare CIS returns

* Support the personal tax team as needed

Requirements:

* At least 3 years' experience working in payroll in a UK accountancy practice or bureau
* Must have experience with a variety of payroll software
* Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently to deadlines
