Production Team Leader

The Recruitment Co is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our client in Bolton, a world leader in the automotive components industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a renowned organization and gain further invaluable experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Production Line Team to achieve daily targets relating to Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Support improvement team activities and develop the team.
- Conduct area audits and follow through with corrective actions.
- Ownership of meetings, coordination, and KPIs for allocated team.
- Identify areas of improvement and relay this up the chain of command.
- Drive good health and safety practices across the team.
- Implementation of 5S.
- Encourage and support operatives to achieve line, team, and Skill Block requirements.
- Development and training of team members.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Team Leader in a manufacturing environment (automotive experience a bonus).
- Driven with a great work ethic.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Experience of implementing and reviewing KPIs.
- Staff training experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the Production Line Team to achieve daily targets and driving good health and safety practices across the team. You will also be responsible for implementing 5S and encouraging and supporting operatives to achieve line, team, and Skill Block requirements.
What You Need:
To be successful in this role, you will need experience as a Team Leader in a manufacturing environment, a driven work ethic, strong relationship building skills, and experience of implementing and reviewing KPIs. Staff training experience is also essential.
