Production Team Leader - Manufacturing - Bolton

The Recruitment Co is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our client in Bolton, a world leader in the automotive component manufacturing industry. As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the production line team to achieve daily targets in Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ownership of meetings, coordination, and KPIs for the allocated team
  2. Identifying areas of improvement and relaying this up the chain of command
  3. Drive good health and safety practices across the team
  4. Implementation of 5S
  5. Encouraging and supporting operatives to achieve line, team, and Skill Block requirements
  6. Development and training of team members

Requirements:

  1. Experience as a Team Leader in a manufacturing environment (automotive experience a bonus)
  2. Driven with a great work ethic
  3. Strong relationship building skills
  4. Experience of implementing and reviewing KPIs
  5. Staff training experience
