About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to join our team as a Mental Health Service Director at Priory Healthcare. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of our mental health services.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management: Direct leadership for the Hospital Senior Management team and indirect leadership for the full hospital team.
  2. Financial Management: Direct responsibility for budget management and cost control within the hospital.
  3. Information Governance: Shared responsibility for the confidentiality, security and accuracy of staff and patient records, data and information.
Key Skills and Experience
  1. Leadership and Management: Proven experience of leading a diverse team and making informed decisions in difficult circumstances.
  2. Financial Management: Experience of commercial accountability for cost control and financial performance.
  3. Information Governance: Strong understanding of developing services for healthcare and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
Requirements
  1. Education and Qualifications: Educated to degree level or with a relevant health or social care professional registration.
  2. Experience: Experience in a hospital environment, preferably in a Mental Health Service, is essential.
  3. Skills: Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task, and a passion for providing high quality care.
