About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emotional Literacy Support Facilitator to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality out-of-class support for students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) at our Tresham College campuses in Kettering, Corby, and Wellingborough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, promoting their emotional literacy and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, other support staff, and external agencies to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of inclusive education programs, ensuring that all students have access to a high-quality learning experience.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Participate in staff training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEND.
Requirements
  • A Level or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
  • English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with students with SEND in an educational setting.
