About This Role

The Headstock Group is seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to spearhead our marketing efforts for Laney Amplification, a leading brand in the guitar and bass amplification industry.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry, a passion for marketing, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to drive brand awareness and sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the product manager to understand amplifier features and benefits, and translate technical specifications into compelling marketing messages.
  • Manage the Laney Amplification website and ensure it remains up-to-date and engaging.
Digital Marketing and Social Media
  • Grow Laney's presence across social media platforms and implement paid advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics and campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to inform future strategies.
Budget Management and Reporting
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure maximum ROI for all marketing activities.
  • Develop and maintain tracking systems for campaign performance and ROI.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on marketing activities, campaign results, and key performance indicators.
Brand Management
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications align with the Laney brand values.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain our position in the market.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing multi-discipline sales and marketing campaigns, preferably in the music retail industry or audio equipment sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns for musical equipment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience with content creation tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for music and knowledge of guitar and bass amplification is essential.
