Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly management account reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform day-to-day financial procedures, including payroll, payments, pension administration, and HMRC compliance.
- Ensure monthly PAYE/NIC schedules are completed, along with annual returns.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts at month-end, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Process all expenditure from staff credit cards, accurately applying VAT.
The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or have relevant experience in a similar role. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, are essential.
This is an office-based opportunity offering a competitive salary of circa £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
