About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our client's team as a Contract Health and Safety Professional. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a significant site upgrade and expansion project, supporting the EHS Team with key responsibilities:

  • Safety data management: Update site MSDS for chemicals used on site and review COSHH assessments for materials used.
  • Task identification and risk assessment: Identify all tasks via Job Safety Analysis or Task Risk Assessments Matrix and assess exposure levels for chemical exposure using the client's Health Risk Assessment methodology.
  • Monitoring and planning: Develop future 5-year monitoring plans and conduct monitoring and background checks as needed.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, and experience working on similar projects. We estimate the salary for this role to be around £70,000 - £90,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
