Citi Global Wealth, a Division of Citi focused on serving affluent and HNW clients, is seeking a strong candidate to drive the execution of the portfolio risk monitoring aspect of the SBL Transformation project.

The role sits within the Portfolio Strategy team within Wealth Credit Management (WCM), serving as a critical component of our First Line of Defense for Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to our growing business from the start, benefiting from Citi's considerable strengths and footprint in serving affluent and HNW clients.

The Securities-Based Lending (SBL) business within Wealth provides financing against liquid and marketable securities as well as derivative products to the whole wealth spectrum of clients ranging from the affluent up to the Ultra High Net Worth segment. As a Counterparty Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for defining and implementing CCR portfolio risk metrics and analytics for new Margin Loans, as well as defining and implementing best-in-class stress testing and CCR analytics for the SBL portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and implementing CCR portfolio risk metrics and analytics for new Margin Loans;
  • Defining and implementing best in class stress testing and CCR analytics for the SBL portfolio;
  • Liaising with relevant Risk Management teams in Second Line and Technology teams as needed;

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
