Learning and Development Specialist

Job Summary: As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will work alongside qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to support the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role involves supporting small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis in the classroom or in intervention sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN in the classroom and in intervention sessions
- Assisting the class teacher in preparing class material and providing comfort and emotional support to students
- Using a composed approach to de-escalate situations and ensure a safe environment for students
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a First-Class or 2:1 Psychology degree from a top 20 UK University, as well as experience working with children with SEN. You will also need excellent communication skills and an empathetic and patient nature when supporting students.
Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum (£400-£500 per week), paid weekly on a PAYE basis.
