The successful Ecologist will work closely with the ecology team in Oxford, assisting with protected species surveys and contributing to the company\u2019s growth and success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Undertake protected species surveys to ensure the highest standards of ecological expertise
* Collaborate with the team to build tenders and create fee quotations that meet client needs
* Produce technical reports, including PEA reports, BNG reports, and protected species reports
* Manage small to medium-sized projects, with the opportunity to work on larger projects with guidance
**Requirements:**
* 2-3 years of industry experience in ecology or a related field
* Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
* Protected species license (desirable)
* Full UK driving license
* Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the ability to apply it correctly
* Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) membership (desirable)
