Behaviour Specialist Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Behaviour Specialist Teacher to join our team at a KS3-4 Pupil Referral Unit in Chesham. The successful candidate will work with key stage 3 and 4 students, teaching a variety of subjects in a safe and nurturing environment to enable them to reach their full potential.

About the Role

The Behaviour Specialist Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Teaching students across a range of subjects
  • Developing and implementing behaviour support plans
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Encouraging students to develop fantastic behaviours for learning
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified teacher with QTS/PGCE/SCITT/Schools Direct/Registered with GTC or SET, who is:

  • Excellent in their practice and able to understand the needs of students
  • Able to model unconditional positive regard to all students
  • Flexible and able to take the initiative to develop good professional relationships and liaise with others
  • Committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
