Job Title: Lead Multi-skilled Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Multi-skilled Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day engineering activities on various work sites and ensuring the successful completion of contracts under your supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate engineering activities on site, ensuring they are carried out to the highest safety standards and delivered on time.
  • Support the demands of our growing business in liquid and powder process solution equipment, consumable supplier to the food, beverage, brewery, bakery, dairy, and utility industries throughout the UK.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, operations personnel, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and control labour, plant, and materials to meet project requirements, ensuring that works are undertaken as detailed in the method statement and in accordance with the risk assessment.
Requirements:
  • Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ City & Guilds)
  • Engineering experience, including a supervisory role managing people
  • Must come from a FMCG background
