About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Assurance Audit Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit work that meets the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a major point of contact for the audited entity, working closely with the Partner to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Identify and recognise business and sales opportunities, and inform the Partner as appropriate.
  • Recruit, retain, develop and motivate employees, including participating in graduate recruitment and ensuring job appraisal documentation is completed within deadlines.
  • Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales, and identify opportunities for additional billings.
  • Ensure a good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Experience of systems/controls testing, substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures.
  • Project Management experience.
