Job Title: Academic Support Specialist

About the Role:

The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust is seeking a highly skilled Academic Support Specialist to join their team. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with schools to provide expert guidance and support in colleague services functions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to school leaders to ensure effective colleague services processes.
  • Advise schools on recruitment strategies and coordinate recruitment and selection processes.
  • Ensure compliance with trust policies and procedures, including corporate Colleague policies.
  • Manage the Colleague Service Management Information System (MIS) and maintain accurate colleague records.
  • Proactively manage colleague relations and ensure line managers are supported in policy implementation.
  • Deliver training to line managers and other staff on people management issues and policy application.

Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 5 O Levels/GCSEs, including English and Mathematics at Grade C or 4 or above.
  2. Experience in coaching senior leaders through complex casework.
  3. Ability to effectively use IT, particularly MS Word and Excel.
  4. Recognition of the importance of maintaining accurate financial records and following process.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
