About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at SRG. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative hardware solutions that meet the needs of our rapidly growing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop internal processes to drive commercial-grade solutions that meet business, user-experience, and operating needs.
  • Lead fast-turnaround mechatronic projects and ensure solid Design for Manufacturing and Design for Maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Hardware Systems Architect to ensure consistent engineering practices and technologies across all products.
  • Introduce new processes and operational functions across the organization to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Work with Software Engineering, Quality, Laboratory Operations, and Research Chemistry to optimize day-to-day workflows.
Requirements
  • BEng Hons or equivalent in mechanical engineering, design, or equivalent.
  • Over 6 years of experience in design, development, testing, and launch of hardware and mechatronics solutions.
  • At least two years of leadership experience in engineering design projects.
