Chemical Manufacturing Expertise

We are collaborating with a pioneering Chemical Manufacturing start-up that leverages AI and cutting-edge processes to design and produce molecules. They are seeking an expert in precision fluid handling or multi-degree-of-freedom moving systems to augment their engineering team's expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop internal processes to drive commercial-grade solutions that meet business, user-experience, and operational needs in a rapidly growing company.
  • Lead fast-turnaround mechatronic projects and ensure solid Design for Manufacturing and Design for Maintenance to facilitate worldwide technology deployment.
  • Collaborate with the Hardware Systems Architect to ensure consistent engineering practices and technologies are applied across all products.
  • Introduce new processes and operational functions across the organization by integrating all components into highly efficient workflows, decreasing costs, increasing quality, improving turn-around-time, and maximizing overall throughput.
  • Work with Software Engineering, Quality, Laboratory Operations, and Research Chemistry to optimize day-to-day workflows, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and scalability in delivering complex chemical synthesis campaigns in parallel.
Requirements
  • BEng Hons or equivalent in mechanical engineering, design, or equivalent.
  • Over 6 years of experience in design, development, testing, and launch of hardware and mechatronics solutions, including at least two years of leadership of engineering design projects.
