People talent has partnered with a global professional services organisation to recruit an Oracle Cloud Functional Support Analyst. This key role reports to the Oracle Support Manager and sits within the Finance Systems Team, assisting with the newly built Oracle Cloud Fusion system. The team will transition the system into a steady state, resolve end-user issues, replicate bugs, and collaborate with a 3rd Party Managed Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with finance to deliver high-quality system reports, analysis, and support to meet business needs.
  • Provide support services for the Cloud instance of Oracle Fusion, including General ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounting Hub, FCCS, EPM, and OIC modules.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents and defects related to the full end-to-end process, considering root cause resolution and scalability.
  • Replicate system issues in development environments and support with testing changes, ensuring they pass acceptance testing.
  • Provide system administration, maintenance, interface management, and support with control of Opening/Closure of ledgers during month-end periods.
  • Raise continuous improvements to tackle high ticket counts.
  • Work with 3rd Party support partners, using their ticket portals, to resolve issues.
  • Highlight major impacting issues to the Oracle Support Manager to ensure business impact is managed.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to end-users.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Financial modules – 4+ years.
  • Experience with implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects is valuable, along with a strong understanding of finance processes.
  • Proficient in analysing requirements, configuring systems, conducting user training, and providing ongoing support.
  • Oracle certifications are a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service.
  • Understanding of accounting and month-end processes.
  • Ability to liaise comfortably with key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability in translating end-user requests into system requests.
  • Operationally focused and confident in working within a busy environment.
