Lloyd Barnes Accountancy Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our client's expanding team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business through seamless cross-departmental collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Financial Insights: Offer expert financial guidance to support customer quotation processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Accurate Product Costing: Ensure the accurate and timely calculation of product costs, driving business success through precise financial management.
  • Financial Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance of customers and products, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Project Cost Tracking: Track project costs and time to guarantee accurate revenue recognition, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Costing Model Enhancement: Enhance costing models, ERP systems, and related processes to drive business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Executive Presentations: Present to Executives, offering detailed guidance to both finance and non-finance managers, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Commercial Acumen: Leverage commercial acumen to recommend improvements in data capture, reporting, and analysis, driving business growth and success.


Requirements:

  • Accounting Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using ERP/MRP software systems and advanced Excel, with expertise in costing methods and commercial environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly interpret data and draw conclusions, driving informed decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences and manage conflicting priorities independently.
