Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Insights: Provide high-quality financial insights to support customer quotation processes and drive business growth.
  • Product Costing: Ensure accurate and timely calculation of product costs, ensuring the company's financial objectives are met.
  • Financial Performance Analysis: Analyse financial performance of customers and products, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Project Cost Tracking: Track project costs and time to guarantee accurate revenue recognition, ensuring the company's financial health.
  • Costing Models and ERP Systems: Enhance costing models, ERP systems, and related processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Executive Presentations: Present to Executives, offering detailed guidance to both finance and non-finance managers, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Commercial Acumen: Leverage commercial acumen to recommend improvements in data capture, reporting, and analysis, driving business growth and profitability.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis, with a strong understanding of costing methods and commercial environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using ERP/MRP software systems and advanced Excel, with expertise in costing methods and commercial acumen.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly interpret data and draw conclusions, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
