Regulatory Reporting Accountant Trainee Role

Société Générale Assurances is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting Accountant Trainee to join our team. As a Regulatory Reporting Accountant Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting, and providing support to the Regulatory Reporting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of regulatory reports, including COREP, Large Exposures, LCR, and NSFR.
  • Review and analyze data to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Regulatory Reporting team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide support to the team during peak periods and special projects.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree-level education or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Part-qualified or working towards a professional qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Excellent systems skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and web-based applications.
  • High degree of numeracy skills and analytical thinking.
  • Flexible approach and adaptability to work.
  • Time management with high-level accuracy.
  • Confident dealing with people from various levels of seniority.
