Equifind is working with an international banking client to hire a regulatory reporting accountant for a 15-month period. The successful candidate will join a great team in the London office and become an integral part of the team from the start.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Run the daily and monthly regulatory reporting process and make submissions to regulatory bodies.
  2. Responsible for quarterly financial returns and MIFIDPRU reporting.
  3. Production of a weekly regulatory dashboard report with commentary.
  4. Assist the Head of Regulatory Reporting in preparing annual MIFIDPRU disclosure and wind-down plan documents.
  5. Support the Head of Regulatory Reporting in preparing, reviewing, and submitting periodic and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  6. Engage with Financial Reporting and Financial Control to ensure timely and accurate management and financial information for regulatory reporting.
  7. Provide expert advice on regulatory matters and key ratios to the finance and treasury teams.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest regulatory developments for the business.
  9. Ad-hoc projects as requested by the CFO, including presentations, analysis, and modeling of regulatory fund ratios.
  10. Assist in automating regulatory reporting with the IT department.
  11. Support the Head of Regulatory Reporting as the point of contact for regulatory reporting issues.
  12. Maintain a regulatory modeling tool and update as necessary.
Requirements
  1. Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years' PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  2. Experience in banking regulatory reporting within the UK.
  3. Experience with multiple regulatory reporting systems is desirable.
About the Business

The business is an international banking company with a significant presence in London. The finance team is over 20 people, and the office has a great atmosphere. The business operates a flexible working policy, with three days in the office and two days working from home.

Remuneration

This exciting opportunity will pay between £80k-£90k, depending on qualifications and industry experience. The ideal start date is within the next month, so immediate availability or one week's notice is required.
