About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our team at Bourton Leisure Centre. As a Swim Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and are achieving their goals.

Our ideal candidate will have a Level 2 swimming teaching qualification and excellent communication skills. You will be able to work closely with customers, including children and their parents, and provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme
  • To communicate with the children's parents/guardians concerning their development and advise on their progression through the programme
  • To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
  • Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
  • An ability to deal with children and their parents
  • Level 2 swimming teaching qualification
  • DBS check
