Accelerate the energy transition with Assystem, a global company dedicated to delivering innovative engineering and project management services. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Design Authority team.

Your Mission:

This role is ideal for engineers with a strong background in Electrical Design, although candidates with experience in Electrical Installation or Maintenance are also welcome. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for specifying, producing, and assessing design packages, defining reliability and operational constraints, and promoting a safety and security culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Excellence: Specify, produce, and assess design packages.
  • Reliability & Operations: Define reliability and operational constraints.
  • Maintenance Procedures: Assess work control procedures for maintenance.
  • Design & Material State: Evaluate design, material state, and ageing mechanisms.
  • Safety & Security: Promote safety and security culture and ensure contract outputs meet safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Infrastructure design and maintenance.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
  • Analytical Skills: Assess conditions and ageing mechanisms.
  • Communication: Effective communication with clients and teams.
  • Project Management: Manage projects and deliver on time.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Detailed Knowledge: Design Intent for Electrical Infrastructure in the nuclear or similar industry.
