Workshop Service Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms Careers. As a key member of our workshop team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective running of our depot.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, and be comfortable working with powered access machines such as booms and scissor lifts. Don't worry if you're new to this type of equipment - we offer comprehensive training to help you get up to speed quickly.
In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You'll also receive a range of benefits, including life assurance, Westfield health care plan, 25 days holiday, and a pension scheme.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Location Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the depot
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and at the depot
- Ensuring all maintenance and repair work is completed to the highest standard
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
