Electrical Project Manager Job Description

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our client, an electrical contractor based in Southampton, during an exciting time of growth. Our client specializes in innovative and sustainable projects, with a strong focus on EV charging hubs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of EV charging hub projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, preferably within the EV and HV sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
