Job Description

Job Title: HPC Expert

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Hybrid - Up to 2 days a week on client site

Salary: Up to £130,000 base salary + bonus & other benefits

Job Summary:

Excelerate is seeking a highly skilled HPC Expert to champion our most crucial HPC clients in the UK. As a Senior HPC Specialist, you will lead the charge in deploying and supporting cutting-edge HPC-like systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide integration and deployment services for large-scale HPC solutions, including analysing system components and addressing integration challenges.
  • Conduct testing and assessment of system components, prototype features, and define architectural requirements for high-performance HPC clusters.
  • Deliver Level 2 software support for HPC environments.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Linux OS (RedHat / Debian based)
  • A strong understanding of server hardware
  • Mandatory skills in scripting with Bash and/or Python
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking and security concepts
  • Must hold a British passport and have lived in the UK the last 10 years (For DV clearance)
