Job Description

Our client, OBM People, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Freight Forwarding Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Customs Manager, this role will lead a team of customs & freight forwarding professionals, communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to management, including recruitment and training, to motivate the team and support their development.
  • Oversee team member work regarding quality and guideline compliance.
  • Ensure company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards.
  • Deliver the operational day-to-day management of the Customs and Freight Forwarding team.
  • Assist the Customs Manager with internal and external training.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of freight forwarding/logistics.
  • Ability to answer team member questions, provide resolution to team member queries, and effectively handle customer complaints.
  • Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers and answering customer enquiries.
