Senior Leadership Opportunity in Residential Care

Barker Ross Group is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Care Manager to join our team at a residential children's home in Burnley and Accrington. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong management skills, a passion for delivering high-quality care, and a commitment to promoting positive outcomes for young people.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff, including deputy managers and children's residential workers. Your key responsibilities will include conducting staff supervisions and appraisals, identifying training needs and implementing development plans, ensuring health and safety compliance, and promoting therapeutic approaches.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have at least 2 years' experience as a registered manager or deputy manager, ideally with a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or a level 3 qualification in Young People's Workforce or Residential Care. Effective communication and a good understanding of Ofsted's standards for children's homes are essential.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
