The ideal candidate will have relevant sports coaching qualifications or a degree in Physical Education or Sports Science and prior experience of coaching or teaching children with SEND and/or SEMH needs.

  • Deliver inclusive sports sessions that promote social inclusion, emotional regulation, and physical activity.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other support teams to ensure seamless integration of sports activities into students' Individual Education Plans.
  • Use sport and physical activity as a tool for promoting social skills, self-esteem, and emotional well-being.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with students, providing emotional support and guidance through sport.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
