Behaviour Support Specialist Opportunity

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEMH needs, promoting social skills and emotional resilience.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement behaviour management strategies.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to the SENCO and other relevant staff.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is essential.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviour in a positive manner.
  • Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
