HR Assistant Role

Downside School is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to provide efficient and professional support to the HR function. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the school's compliance with relevant regulations and statutory guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and other members of the HR team.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including preparing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage employee data and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement effective HR systems and processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR administration or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other HR software.
