Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Healthcare Policy, Advocacy & Public Affairs team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering public affairs strategies and programs in the healthcare space, with experience engaging with system and NHS leaders. Strong leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and excellent communication abilities are essential for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development and Team Leadership: Develop and implement effective strategies to drive positive outcomes for patients and healthcare organizations. Lead a talented team, nurturing talent and creating a training strategy to ensure their growth and development.
  • Financial Management and Quality Assurance: Manage the team's finances effectively, implementing systems that drive quality assurance and standards. Monitor and improve performance regularly.
  • Public Affairs Expertise: Deliver public affairs strategies and programs in the healthcare space, engaging with system and NHS leaders. Leverage your network to influence policy changes and advocate for clients' interests.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A deep understanding of major issues and policy changes impacting the UK healthcare system and pharma industry.
  • An extensive network within the healthcare and pharma sectors, with strong connections among system and NHS leaders.
  • Experience working with advocacy groups, influencers, and other stakeholders to drive policy change.

 

Compensation Package

This role comes with a competitive salary of approximately £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including professional development opportunities, health insurance, and a generous pension scheme.
