Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  1. Liaising with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  2. Leading a team of care assistants to ensure high standards of care are maintained at all times.
  3. Collaborating with the nursing team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  4. Providing physical and emotional support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks.
  5. Maintaining accurate records of resident care and activities.

Requirements

  • S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Background in person-centered care planning
  • Knowledge of caring for people with dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is £15-£20, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including paid Enhanced DBS/PVG certification, £1000 Welcome bonus, free uniform, and nutritious meals during shifts of eight hours or more.
